Art that evokes the "I am here" moment

Hey folks -

I'm looking to write an article about SL artists who put their Flickr streams to service for their work. Not just as documentation, but some artists use the medium of Flickr as a way to provide more information, teasers, text, that sort of thing - basically as a way of enriching the SL art experience.

Do you know of any artists that do this? I already have AM Radio and Nebulosus Severine on my list, but frankly I've been talking an awful lot about them lately on the BiW site. An article that mentions them, but doesn't have them as the main subject, would probably be better received. Any thoughts? Ideas? Feel free to pimp your own work shamelessly... :)

I think I misread the request. Ignore my last link in that case. If you want the promotion side of things then I have done that too, plenty on my Flickr stream :)

Hey Amy.
There are tons of people using Flickr to support, promote and add another layer to their work. Recently video has been added to Flickr which makes it both a cool way to document and the video itself as an art act. That said, video is best shown on other sites like Vimeo and then shared as a link on Flickr or here. I find Vimeo the best since you can upload the highest quality video.
It even has a feature that lets you add a still frame and link to Flickr and Facebook. Here are a few of mine:

I also know that Arahan uses video quite a lot.

Speaking of integration, this Ning site (which totally rocks) also lets you directly import your Flickr photos into it.

Other people who I think use Flickr in interesting ways to extend their sl work:

and there are people using SL to produce the work they show at flickr. as you might imagine, i'm certainly not a specialist for that kind of work, but see, e.g., http://www.flickr.com/photos/7312480@N05/
